Green is Greater Festival

[Updated 9/9/2010]

In conjunction with the Gaslamp Restaurant & Bar, Egrets Not Regrets has partnered up with the new local media sensation,
Greater Long Beach, and is co-hosting the Green is Greater at the Gaslamp Festival!

On Saturday, September 18 from noon to 6 p.m. head on over to the Gaslamp Restaurant and Bar (6251 E. PCH, corner of PCH and Loynes) to meet local environmental organizations, peruse various arts and crafts booths, listen to live music and enjoy the food and drink at the Gaslamp!

The event is even family friendly! There will be a kids crafts corner where the littler ones can show off their mad crafting skills.

Though it is absolutely free to attend, it's also a fundraiser! Here's how:
  1. There will be a 33/33/33 drawing (tickets $5) wherein the "winner" gets 1/3 of the pot, the Egrets Not Regrets Scholarship Fund gets 1/3 of the pot, and the winner gets to designate which organization gets the other 1/3. Runner up prizes will also be awarded!
  2. The Gaslamp is donating 10% of the proceeds to organizations!
  1. Friends of Colorado Lagoon
  2. Compassionate Cuisine
  3. El Dorado Audubon, California Chapter of the National Audubon
  4. Friends of Long Beach Animals
