Tank Removal Project Before Planning Commission Again

I'm cruising through the Planning Commission agenda for the Thursday, May 6 hearing and I see that the Tank Removal Project is back for approval. From the staff report (agenda/staff report can be found here):

"This project was continued from the Planning Commission meeting of February 18, 2010. After a lengthy discussion relating to environmental concerns regarding removal of the tanks, the Planning Commission voted three to two to continue the item. The purpose of the continuance was to allow the applicant to obtain a certified work plan from the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and an engineering analysis to determine the location of the interlocking Plains Petroleum pipeline system running through the site. The applicant has submitted an approved workplan from the Department of Toxic Substances Control (Exhibit A -DTSC letter of March30, 2010; Waterstone Environmental, Inc. revised work plan dated March 26, 2010 and Plains Petroleum tank map). Soil sampling and analysis will take place after the tanks have been removed."

So, if you are interested in the Tank Removal Project, go to the Planning Commission hearing:
